In the hopes of enhancing our own sustainability efforts and furthering One Tree Planted’s global reforestation mission, every kids’ toys or furniture purchase made on the Guidecraft website will plant a tree.

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people and wildlife. Biodiversity
We are facing a climate crisis and the rapid loss of Earth’s remaining wild places. As we lose habitats ,we also lose biodiversity. With your help, One Tree Planted will protect endangered species by increasing forest cover, restore holistic ecosystems for a range of flora and fauna, and improve soil stability by restoring degraded areas. AFR100: Plant Trees for Africa
Africa is at risk due to deforestation that is 4 times the global average rate. Not only does this threaten the livelihoods of its local communities, it also affects the planet as a whole. The African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative aims to restore 100 million hectares of deforested and degraded land in Africa by the year 2030. With your help, One Tree Planted will provide jobs to minimize poverty in local communities, improve climate change resilience and mitigation, and restore forest cover to improve food security. Amazon Rainforest
Due to logging, unsustainable agriculture, and forest fires, the Amazon Rainforest is a high risk zone or deforestation and degradation. With your help, One Tree Planted will protect and restore primary forests to stabilize the climate, conserve habitat for the Amazon Rainforest’s iconic wildlife species, and provide sustainable livelihoods to local people through agroforestry. Forest Fire Recovery
The latest forest fire season on the west coast of North America has been extreme. But an impactful way to help the affected regions directly is through reforestation.
