A Disappointment
"We gave this truck to my son on Christmas morning, and it was a huge disappointment. The toy looks nice, but I doubt it was ever tested out on children. It is no fun to play with. The truck isn't capable of lifting anything up except the one block that comes with it. Unless you have the ability to make custom-sized blocks, all you can do is lift and lower one block. None of our other blocks or toys were compatible. It would be much better if the lift contained magnets or was replaced with an adjustable clamp so the child could pick up a variety of toys with it. Also - the mechanism that raises the block is not designed to lock in place. As soon as the child removes their hand, the block falls to the ground. My truck-obsessed child who literally sleeps with a wooden excavator in his bed lost interest in this toy after about 2 minutes. It is a total dud. Do not recommend!"
