The Art Lessons

Under the direction of renowned fine artist, Heidi Lanino, Guidecraft endeavors to reveal the connections between geometry and fine arts, creativity and systems theory, play and patterning through the eyes and work of a new fine artist each year. The resulting work of this exploration is then curated for the cover of our new catalog at the start of each year. The pages which follow herald the process for developing an accompanying art lesson based on the principles explored within the work of art and further reveal its connection to toys designed by Guidecraft.
