Guidecraft Toy Storage Organizer - Gray
I’ve been in the market for a bookshelf that would fit In between my boys beds. I stumbled across this book shelf and instantly loved it. It’s the perfect size for any small corner or area and big enough for storage baskets so you can Also use it as a toy storage or clothes storage. Super easy assembly I did it myself I had no issues. The wood is very strong it’s not flimsy.
So after you are done choking on the price- really consider it because it's great. My toddler is probably the clumsiest kid on earth and falling off stools was a problem for us.. This one is great! He hasn't fallen off it yet! It's super sturdy and gets right up against the counter with no gap. He gets on and off it really easily, the cutout shapes make it easy for him to grab on and hoist himself up. We resisted buying it for some time because holy dolllars, but now that we finally caved, I wish we would have done it sooner. Barely any assembly was required, just putting the little feet on, I handled it in no time and "assembly" really isn't one of my skills..
These are just what I was hoping for! Beautiful! Still deciding on whether or not to give them a water proof finish, they are completely natural. Very pleased!
My daughter, age 6, and I really enjoy these blocks. I received this set free from Tryazon and Guidecraft in exchange for hosting a party and offering an honest review. All opinions and experiences are honest and my own. We had a party and children ages 3-11 used the IO Blocks to build. We used the included Build Cards - which are sturdy, colorful, and two-sided. We also built using our imaginations. This was the kids' favorite part! Some of the provided projects were simply too complicated for this age group. As a parent/homeschool mom, this is actually an awesome feature - these blocks will be great for hands-on thinking and learning until at least age 15. I can see my daughter building structures and using them for STEM projects for many years. They are sturdy, durable and the color is great. They connect well, but provide the opportunity for movement [great if you decide to use them for stop-motion animation projects!]. They could easily be mixed and mingled with other textiles [like playdough] for even more imaginative play and projects. The only current drawback to these building blocks are that they come with a free app that just isn't quite up to par yet. The augmented reality app allows the builder to look up about 20 different build projects and see how they're put together. It is great to be able to see how the pieces of more complicated projects come together, especially if you find yourself stuck. However, right now, not every Build Card is included in the app and that left some of the children upset and frustrated. I think there is a lot of room for the app to grow, but the app is an add-on that is not vital to the enjoyment of these blocks! There are an endless variety of ways to use these blocks for teaching and learning. They are recommended for ages 4 and up and I would agree. I think they're a great investment for any classroom. The children I partied with would agree. They said they would choose these blocks over any others if given the choice! They loved the colors, shapes, and puzzleyness of the blocks.
I have a special needs toddler that doesn’t know his own strength and tends to destroy things when he gets excited. We’ve been trying to get him into art projects but weren’t able to find any type of art station that would survive him, until now. This thing is STURDY!!! It ends up being pretty heavy once assembled so it can only be moved by an adult. It has great protective rubber feet that are screwed in so it slides pretty easily across linoleum or hardwood without scratching. It was a bit of an investment and has a large footprint in our small home but it was totally worth it!
So far so good on this. Bought it for our 8 yr old daughter for christmas went together in under 30 min.
We ended up buying 2 sets because we liked these so much. There is just something about how they interlock that I find satisfying (maybe I'm weird). The quality is good, not too difficult, but not too loose either. I didn't notice much difference between the quality of the pieces fitting together.
My daughter loves this! Now she can help me in the kitchen or make art projects and it’s so much easier for me because she is at the same height as me now. It’s very sturdy. Easy to put together. Easy to fold and put away and unfold to use. I love that it folds. I can keep it behind my pantry door. Definitely space saving. It comes with a net for one side so only one side is open which makes it easy for my daughter to get in and out of by herself and also a lot less likely she will fall out of one side. I would recommend this to anyone with a child over 1 1/2. We love it.
My child can help me now
We absolutely love this!!! Very mobile to move around the room and doesn't take up too much space.
The mirror came unglued, but very sturdy with my kids climbing on it.
This was one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. Our two and four year old girls spend the majority of their time at this table now. It’s perfect for arts and crafts, play doh, kinetic sand, and a million other activities. It’s so difficult to pull them away from this table that they’ve even been known to eat at it while they play. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Love this. I only wish it were battery operated. I don’t like using extension cords in the classroom. Otherwise great for home use!
My kids love being able to cook with me, pack their lunches, and just see what is going on ( and snack as food is being prepared) on the countertop. It pretty much lives at the island countertop, but occasionally comes over to the sink when we feel like supervising dish cleaning time. (Water goes everywhere, but they love it). Buy one, if you are hesitant about the price, just remember you can always resell it later, doesn't look like they are getting any less expensive here.
My kids love this table. Really good and sturdy table, same color as pic.
My 21 month old got these for Christmas and she loves them! She was never super into blocks until we got her these! She loves looking at herself in the pieces and they are fairly large so are easy to stack! I think we will be getting more!
Love this wardrobe. It was a quick build. No missing parts. It holds 6 Disney dress up dresses currently and may have enough room for 1-2 more max. Holds lots of dress up accessories in the bins. I like that the lower part of the wardrobe holds all the dress up shoes too. I do remember it smelling when we first took it out of the box for assembly but the smell faded within a few days. We got the green wardrobe...it was the least expensive at the time and my toddler for whom we gifted this to could care less what color it was. I’m sure if we paint it there would be no issues. Overall a great product!
Love this so far exactly what I wanted. Came assembled and files I only had to add the leg stabilizer pieces which was easy. Perfectly even with my counter. Perfect height for my 15 month old. It comes on the highest of the two settings. He is already climbing into it himself and pushing it around on day one.
My daughter is delighted with this table and chairs and found them very useful when her niece and nephew visited.
