My daughter loves this dress-up center. It's just the right height for her and so many outfits and dresses fit in the center. Great buy for your money.
I bought this for my 2 year old daughter so she can help see while we are working in the kitchen. It is a good product overall. Seems like it could be a bit safer if there was only one open side. Somehow she bumped her head on the top bar of one of the open sides as she was climbing out of it. I chose this product over others because it folds up. However, we rarely have folded it since we started using it. We usually leave it out next to the counter. Also, the feet stick out a couple inches so even when folded the bottom doesn't fit in as small of a space as I thought. Sometimes we trip on the feet, too. Despite the cons I mentioned, I'm glad we have the stool and my daughter seems to like it.
My daughter is 4 and this table set is perfect for her. She is so in love with it. I see it lasting many years to come. Very sturdy and craftsmanship is superb! I did not regret this buy.
Great quality. My 20 month old is interested in it, but hasn't mastered screwing yet. He has me do it for him, but soon he will learn. Once he does the next level is using the little screwdriver that comes with it.
My 2 1/2 year old loves this. Anytime I’m doing something in the kitchen he demands we get it out. This has been one of my best mom purchases. Assembly was surprisingly easy. It is sturdy, easy to fold up, and easy for my son to climb in and out of. I highly recommend. It’s worth every penny.
Granddaughter loves it. She four yrs. old, and this desk such a well made easel.
I am writing this review 5 1/2 years after we ordered this stool. I've always heard it referred to as a "Learning Tower," which isn't in the description, so hopefully including the words here will help people using that search term. As for the tower itself, I know it's expensive. Before we made our purchase, I agonized over it for weeks, wondering if we would even use this thing. I'm here 5+ years later to tell you that it's the best kid-gear purchase we ever made. My husband agrees. Our daughter basically lived in it for about three and a half years. We placed our tower on the far side of the bar in our kitchen, and if my husband or I were cooking, washing dishes, putting away groceries or sorting bills, our daughter was in her tower, keeping us company. She would color or play with toys or actually help with kitchen chores while she stood there. If I was baking a cake or rolling out pie dough, she was right there, across the counter, helping. This tower helped us spend *hundreds* of hours together that we would have missed out on otherwise, and I can not recommend it highly enough. My daughter is older and taller now, and no longer needs the safety and security provided by this stool. I'm not generally sentimental about furniture, but we had so many wonderful memories of her, standing at the counter in her tower, that it took me a little while to let go of it. After a year in storage, we recently sold it online to a local couple with a young child of their own. It's extremely durable and was still in great shape, and we were able to sell it for more than half of what we had originally paid for it, which says something about how well it retained its value. But even if it hadn't, it still would have been worth it.
Quality crafted, I like that they nest for easy storage. My kids of all ages 17,14,7,3 & 1 enjoy these.
These are perfect for letting my toddler examine more fragile or less toddler-friendly treasures. He has fun playing between the colored side and the natural clear side, and enjoys examining the details on flowers and other objects which he would typically be too busy inadvertently destroying to really look at. I am so excited to use these for educational purposes as we head into the school years later in life as well.
I purchased the pink and it came the same color as the picture. Packaging was awesome and no pieces damaged! Very sturdy and perfect height for my 4 year old. Very happy and recommend!
My daughter, age 6, and I really enjoy these blocks. I received this set free from Tryazon and Guidecraft in exchange for hosting a party and offering an honest review. All opinions and experiences are honest and my own. We had a party and children ages 3-11 used the IO Blocks to build. We used the included Build Cards - which are sturdy, colorful, and two-sided. We also built using our imaginations. This was the kids' favorite part! Some of the provided projects were simply too complicated for this age group. As a parent/homeschool mom, this is actually an awesome feature - these blocks will be great for hands-on thinking and learning until at least age 15. I can see my daughter building structures and using them for STEM projects for many years. They are sturdy, durable and the color is great. They connect well, but provide the opportunity for movement [great if you decide to use them for stop-motion animation projects!]. They could easily be mixed and mingled with other textiles [like playdough] for even more imaginative play and projects. The only current drawback to these building blocks are that they come with a free app that just isn't quite up to par yet. The augmented reality app allows the builder to look up about 20 different build projects and see how they're put together. It is great to be able to see how the pieces of more complicated projects come together, especially if you find yourself stuck. However, right now, not every Build Card is included in the app and that left some of the children upset and frustrated. I think there is a lot of room for the app to grow, but the app is an add-on that is not vital to the enjoyment of these blocks! There are an endless variety of ways to use these blocks for teaching and learning. They are recommended for ages 4 and up and I would agree. I think they're a great investment for any classroom. The children I partied with would agree. They said they would choose these blocks over any others if given the choice! They loved the colors, shapes, and puzzleyness of the blocks.
This is a great product and has made my life much easier. My sons (3 1/2 years and 18 months) can safely stand on the stool to see what I am doing in the kitchen and also to help me cook. Whenever my 18-month-old tugs at my leg for me to pick him up while I am cooking, I remind him to get on the stool. I love having two hands free to cook and having my children able to see and help at the same time. It's even big enough for both of them. They often stand on the stool together for a snack or to stir pancake batter. My only concern is that the screws need tightening about every 2 months. Otherwise, the Kitchen Helper has been a great help to me!
my 1 year old, 5 year old, and 9 year old love these! we keep them on the window sill and it makes it fun to look through. My 1 year old realized right away that they nest together and practiced this process over and over again. It's fun to see what different types of objects look like through it.
I like this shelf. I am using it as a shoe organizer for our mudroom. Looks attractive and high quality. I gave it 4 stars because it arrived with one corner slightly damaged. Keeping it with the damaged edge since not wanting to go through hassle of returning
Arrived almost a week ahead of schedule. It’s such a cool concept. It arrives mostly assembled, yay! I will definitely be ordering a second keeper net when they become available to help me control when they get to use it. I do wish the silicone mat was the full size of the platform. Kind of odd that it isn’t. It just bugs me slightly. My only real gripe is that some areas of the clear coat appear to be peeling upon arrival. It should be smooth and definitely not peeling for what I paid for this. It kind of looks like icing got on it in a few places where the clear coat is peeling slightly. Disappointed in that aspect, but it won’t affect the functionality, so I’m only taking one star off for the flaws. Both my toddlers climbed in right away. There’s plenty of room for both of them, too. Before long, I’ll have to lower the platform, because they’re quite tall. I can hardly wait to make dinner tonight. They’ll definitely be excited to help, and I won’t have to worry about them falling off a chair. If they decide to use the cutouts for climbing, I’ll put a paper or cardboard panel inside and tape it. I put stick on chair glides on the feet and stabilizer feet so they won’t scratch the floor.
I was initially going to purchase the guidecraft treasure blocks but because these were being sold at a 30 percent discount I chose to buy these instead. They are a surprising hit with my 2 year old son and the fact that he can open the tubes easily and access their contents is a huge plus. This would not have been possible with the treasure blocks with have to be unscrewed in order to open them. They've also included cards with beautiful photos that provide different concepts that can be explored using the treasure tubes. The only issues I've encountered have been with the glass. It smudges easily and attracts lots of lint and hair. It has also scratched at the top when my son pulls it unevenly to open it. Given the fact that rough objects will be placed inside (rocks, sticks, etc.) and will probably scratch them anyway I chose to over look these issues. If all goes well, I plan on also buying the treasure blocks.
I could not be happier. Shipped a week earlier than I expected. Everything was packaged well. There was absolutley zero damage to anything inside. It took me and my 3 and 5 year olds 30 min to put together. Came with everything we needed to put it together with the exception of a screw driver (but noted in instructions) for last step (the hanging rack). Organized everything just they way I wanted. Cleaned up so much space. I wish I took a before photo. I wish I got sooner.
This table was perfect for my kids to sit and color or do crafts. My kids are 5 and 8 and this table works perfect for them. I also love that the seats just slide under the table.
Love this. I only wish it were battery operated. I don’t like using extension cords in the classroom. Otherwise great for home use!
